I don’t know about you… but I always feel more comfortable knowing a little something about my hosts when I’m staying in their house… so here’s a bit about me.

I bought this beautiful 1925 duplex in 2007, and as someone who loves to travel, hosting feels like a natural extension of that passion. I love sharing the best of Shorewood + Milwaukee has to offer.

I live on the second floor of the duplex with my lovable 45 lb black & white mutt, Derby, who you will likely meet during your stay. Derby is practically a celebrity around Shorewood. He’s 19 different breeds and 100% pure love. I am a rabid fan of interior design — my kitchen was featured in Milwaukee Magazine. I never forget that a space must function well while also being beautiful, warm, and full of personality. Whether it’s offering local tips, sharing a good conversation, or just providing a peaceful retreat, I take pride in making guests’ experience memorable. Hosting has taught me so much about people and how even small friendly gestures can make a big impact.

Milwaukee is not just where I live; it’s where my heart is. I was born here and after spending 20 years living away, I realized there’s no place quite like it. This city has a unique charm, from its vibrant neighborhoods to its incredible food and culture, and I love sharing it with others. Hosting allows me to showcase Milwaukee as one of the best cities in the world, and it’s a joy to see guests fall in love with Milwaukee, too.
